How does PrepIO work?

You upload your CV and the job description. PrepIO researches the company on the public web, builds a question bank tailored to the role, and runs a live voice interview with an AI avatar that adapts to your answers. You finish with an emailed report citing real moments from the conversation.

How long does an interview take?

About ten minutes. We cap calls at 30 minutes and twelve turns to keep practice focused.

What plan should I pick?

Solo (£9.99/month, 1 interview) is the easiest way to try the full experience. Standard (£24.99/month, 3 interviews) is the most popular for an active job search. Pro (£59/month, 10 interviews) is for serious prep cycles. You can upgrade any time and only pay the difference for the rest of the period.

What happens to my interview recording?

Recordings, transcripts, and reports are kept for 30 days and then deleted. See our privacy policy for the full picture.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time from your billing page. You keep your remaining interviews until the end of the current period. See cancellations and refunds for the 14-day cooling-off rules.

Can I use my own job description and CV format?

Yes. Paste the job description as plain text. Upload your CV as PDF or DOCX (up to 10 MB) or paste it directly. PrepIO works with any sensible CV format.

Does it work in the browser, or do I need an app?

Browser only, on a desktop or laptop with a working microphone and webcam. We support recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox.

Does the AI know about my employer's interview process?

We research what's publicly available about the company on the web. We do not have inside information about specific employers' internal interview processes, and we never invent company facts.

How is my data kept secure?

Card data goes directly to Stripe; PrepIO never sees it. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Voice and video are processed by our avatar provider. See the privacy policy for the full list of sub-processors and how we handle data.
